Urgent message – Please read to protect your critical data!

As you may already know, a very fierce malware called CryptoLocker has played havoc with business networks across the world, and there has been a recent resurgence called GOZ (GameOverZeus). It is no longer just coming in a method of banking communication, but as a .wav file.

It cannot be said enough that one of the most effective practices to help prevent an attack is to:

  • NEVER open an email or an attachment unless it is coming from a trusted source.

Additional best practices are to:

  • Disable attachment and email previewing in Outlook.
  • Change passwords.

Please pass this on to every employee to help protect your very critical data and avoid a catastrophic event in your organization.

Please feel free to contact us at 805.642.3558 or through our website, and we will be happy to assist in any way we can.
